About Our Farm

Midwest Grown. Midwest Owned.

Possum Walk Farms (formerly My Midwest) was founded in May of 2019.
We acquired our Missouri License for Industrial Hemp as well as our Iowa License for
Industrial Hemp in 2020. Possum Walk, our first Missouri farm, was acquired one
month before planting began in the spring of 2020. This land became the first legal
hemp farm under the new farm bill in Nodaway County. We successfully produced a
CBG (Cannabigerol) crop in our first year and have several products it is used for.
We give tours for the farm by appointment, so let us know if you’d like to swing by!
Our first Iowa farm was planted as a hemp seed crop on family land of Matt Thomas.
This experimental hemp seed crop was intended to be used as a food source.

We have also built a network with other growers nationwide in order to provide high
quality CBD products whether that is from our farms or sourced from other
experienced growers. All of our crops are fully compliant with Missouri, Iowa, and
Federal law. Everything sourced or grown on our farms is lab tested. We use New
Bloom Labs to test all of our crops. Sourced material is tested by other companies
with their info being listed on the lab reports. All of the products that we offer,
whether grown on our farms or sourced from other growers nationwide, can be
traced to specific batches and specific growers.
